The Nashville Banner is spotlighting Tamara Saviano, author of “Poets and Dreamers: My Life in Americana Music,” whose career spans several parts of the Americana music industry.
According to the Banner, Saviano has worked in radio and as a publicist, with Kris Kristofferson among her clients. She also became the first woman to serve as president of the Americana Music Association.
Her production work includes albums and award shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. The Banner describes that range of experience as giving her an insider’s perspective on the Americana scene.
