Downtown Nashville has two new Dolly Parton destinations with the opening of her SongTeller Hotel and Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum.
The hotel adds a lodging option to the city’s central tourism district, while the museum brings another attraction bearing the country music star’s name to Nashville.
Parton’s career has long been intertwined with Music City. A native of East Tennessee, she moved to Nashville after high school and became one of country music’s most recognizable singers and songwriters. Her work has also extended into film, publishing, philanthropy and hospitality.
The downtown openings place the hotel and museum in the city where she built much of her music career.
