Demure Cocktail Lounge is coming to Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood through the conversion of a 127-year-old house into a new hospitality venue.
The project puts an existing historic building at the center of a new business, changing its use from a house to a cocktail lounge. The Demure name will mark the property’s next chapter in a neighborhood where older architecture remains a defining feature.
Germantown, just north of downtown Nashville, is one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods. Its mix of historic homes, restaurants and newer development has made it a destination for dining as well as a residential community.
The house’s conversion connects those two aspects of the neighborhood: its residential history and its contemporary restaurant and bar scene. For Germantown, Demure represents another hospitality use within the neighborhood’s existing building stock.
